âyour rent should be a third of your incomeâ well wouldnât that be nice. wouldnât it. lower the rent pussy
Casual observation from someone old enough to remember: in the year 2000 financial advice was that rent should be no more than Πof your income.
Until the mid 80s, the advice was that if you must rent instead of owning, then that 20% of your monthly income (oh yes, only 20%) should include all your utilities too.
After all, rent costs more than a mortgage, so it should offer more too.
The housing market is a fucking travesty.
Hmm what happened in the mid eightiesâŠ.
how it feels for me to see some of the reactions after the finale (positive)

apparently i’m “throwing binary trans people under the bus” by saying they have binary privilege over nonbinary people? talking about a group’s privilege over another isn’t “throwing them under the bus”, and it doesn’t take away from the oppression they experience. and here i was thinking that privilege means not experiencing a certain kind of oppression (exorsexism). you all. at this point it should be known that having privilege doesn’t mean you’re not oppressed. like, come on. binary trans people experience a hell of a lot of oppression, all of which nonbinary people experience too. but they simply do not experience exorsexism while nonbinary people do which is the basic definition of a privilege. “it’s ok to assert yourself but how dare you talk about privilege?” bitch i can’t talk about oppression without talking about privilege and how privileged people misuse their fucking privilege. if you silence discussions about binary privilege, you’re shutting down any discussion about exorsexism, which completely lines up with everyone wanting nonbinary people to shut up and exist quietly or not exist at all. don’t disrupt the gender binary, don’t disrupt binary privilege.
also extra wtf if you say this shit as a nonbinary person. we don’t need a bootlicker. you all sound like the asexuals who “don’t mind ace exclusionists”.
i’ll happily continue “throwing people under the bus” by talking about binary privilege and allo privilege and mono privilege and other privilege that people get offended by.

me thinking about how romantic the (tragic) loki finale is
Viaje al centro de uno mismo đ
Theyâre both alone because the alternative was them kissing. To be clear.
It was this or full romantic narrative completion. And itâs clear what the corporations regrettably chose/mandated. Thatâs all Iâm sayinâ. I have eyes and a brain and I know how this works.
Mobius is shown as purposeless and adrift. And honestly? TRULY? Iâd rather this than them trying to show Mobius happy at the TVA without Loki.
It does Mobius a disservice as well, but this right here at least rings true to the love story.
Itâs canon in the (needlessly) saddest way possible. More bitter than sweet as a consolation prize.
But Iâm grateful that at the very least they let it be honest.

i saw a reel the other day with the audio saying something like “i’m a woman the way pluto is a planet, i’m not, but i used to be, some people insist i still am and from some angles i might look like one” (and possibly more)
i can’t find it anymore but as a trans mav this makes me wanna claim pluto
